Riding the Boundaries

A father and daughter ignore me, focusing instead on a patch of tea tree where a boar was hiding. The male has a distinctive cut to the right ear - a result of fights with other males. Eastern Grey Kangaroos live in small kinship groups heeled to a specific locality and, unless disturbed, can maintain population equilibrium with the environment. If disturbed, the kinship groups can mingle and populations explode.
