Canning Tomato Sauce

There are few things more satisfying that to reproduce a favorite dish from ones childhood - a taste beyond mass produced condiments.

I can no longer get sealing wax and good quality cork stoppers so these days I compromise with canning jars, working from a recipe from my grand aunt Catherine Victoria Edmonstone who first told me about the dark aelfs who stole her hen eggs.
