Mount Tennant Dreaming

 

You may drive to about a kilometer from the base, but the rest is ‘haunches pony’. 

Mt Tennant (south of Canberra in the Namadgi) is a beautiful dreamy mountain – rent by a single massive steep water/rock fall. 

A thousand falls in one walk (there is a track, but it does not follow the rock/water fall, so a bit of off track scrambling and the occasional unexpected ‘we meant to slip down that waterfall, didn’t we?’)
