In addition to this wind blown 'punk' Laughing Kookaburra, a couple of tribes of King Parrots make deep hollows in farm trees their winter nests, and i provide a little supplementary feeding for those days when things get tough. Today, as snow falls on the surrounding mountains after a solid rain drenching, about 20 birds came to feed, some of them sporting fancy hair makeovers.
