The Parma and Currambene Creeks meet in a large waterhole near the Pacific Ocean. The waterhole (about the size of a large playing field) offers the unusual perspective of two same-height overhang waterfalls, that can vacillate from a complete halt in summer heat to raging flood at other times. If has fallen off the maps (a tourist officer once told me that visitors are not told of this location because it is 'dirty' - an observation i have never made in the 15-20 times i have come here).

Both falls have higher falls upstream - Parma boasts three large sandstone plunge falls that are accessible, two close to Hell Hole Falls.
