Lovely photos, wonderful birds. I've often heard them but never really seen them. Perhaps I confused them with other cockies, but those head feathers are very distinctive. Is this a 2019 frost? The weather hasn't got very cold yet. We haven't even needed a fire in Cootamundra and it's the end of April.

What an incredible sight! Truly blown away by this beauty of combined colors. Tropical birds in an ice tree with red berries against a clear blue sky..... That's not something I could even dream up.
