Normally a small resident native of the forests, the fantails have ventured into the farmlands while their range recovers from fire.

I think Rufus here,should tone it down on his make-up. The eyebrows AND the bold orange lip is just a bit over the top. And then the extravagant fan skirt?! Come on! Life in the farmlands isn't a fashion runway in the forest, ya know. Sheesh.
Thanks Anonymous Sheesh Fashion statements seem all the rage with the bird life - even the small ones are wearing crowns or growing whiskers or putting up crimson tuffs. I feel quite out of place :)
