Aurora Australis from the Tallaganda Wilderness

 A severe geomagnetic storm lit up tonight's sky.  A casual observer may have simply noticed a soft glow from the south, tending red. But 6 second long exposures showed more detail.

But a setting moon and clouds pushing in from the west soon faded the display.
